Clubs and trials

What organisation accounts are, what a club page shows, how an athlete shows their club on their profile, and how open trials work.

Organisation accounts

Clubs, academies, federations, agencies, schools and universities, brands and other organisations can have an account on Scoutyx. Organisation accounts are for adults, and need an active subscription.

Organisations cannot send or receive messages.

A club’s page

Anyone signed in to Scoutyx can open an organisation’s page. It can show its posts and stories, its staff and coaches, its trophies, its open trials and the athletes who train there. You can follow a club to see its posts and stories.

An organisation that wants to follow an athlete under 18 has to send a follow request, which the athlete, or the guardian for a younger athlete, can accept or decline.

Verified organisations

A verified badge means we checked the organisation’s official email address or website, and the identity of the person running the account. Only verified organisations can post photos and stories, appear in the club search, and show their trials to athletes.

Open trials

Verified organisations can publish open trials: the sport, the position, the age range, the place, the date and a description.

Athletes see the trials that match their sport and age, those in their own country first, in the Trials tab of their Inbox and on the club’s page. Tapping I’m interested only adds you to a count: the club sees how many athletes are interested, never who. To take part, contact the club yourself: Contact the club opens its website. A trial disappears after its date.

You can choose to be notified when a club posts a trial in your sport. Scoutyx is a discovery platform: a trial does not guarantee a place, a contract or a selection.
